Again the colors keep on getting screwed up. :[ There's going to be a second painting to this sometime later. xD; Yet another DFA assignment. The lotus lantern is what calls the new year in, so the girl must light the tree so that time will continue. :] Hopefully this will be a possible senior thesis pitch. Spent the least time refining the girl.... can you tell? (dur.)

uhhh yea. So winter break has started and we have so much homework to do.... art school fail? XD;;; Now I can work on Team Sandrock stuff. ;D Fanart yay?

Haven't finished my new layout yet.... GAH. I usually change my layout once a year on my b-day. This year I have failed.... orz;;;;

So I spent the day helping out at my school's freshmen orientation. Yep. Spent my 20th b-day showing people around and attempting to recruit youngins to join our Student Government. *is the Treasurer*

My mother also called me to nag me about my medicine and how she's sending me my 12 bottles of medication. (wtf?!) We got into yet another fight and she never said happy birthday. XD; I love my parents. >> Somehow I'm not really surprised though.

So for the past week or so, I've been stuck rotoscoping (aka tracing over live action footage w/ the pen tool in After Effects) at my internship. Actually, we're all rotoscoping because we need to take out the background from the footage and add in a 3D environment. SHOOT ME NAO PLZ. Tracing over camera tilts and rolls/rotates SUCK.

EPIK HIGH~~~!!!

I'm trying to upload the videos I took during the concert. -___- It's a ridiculously large file (720MB WTF)... suggestions? I'm trying to recompress it again.... but it Premiere somehow spits out an even larger file.... wth.

So firstly I would like to say that Epik High is freaking amazing live. I love these guys SO MUCH and MYK did a fantastic job with them. (Of course Asher and Beatbox DG too) <3

Tukutz actually came outside for a little but to talk on his cellphone, but quickly went back in once he started to hear the "A;LFKAJSGLD; TUKUTZZZZZZ!!!" squeals. XD;;; Poor guy. All he wanted to do was talk on his phone. ^^;

My memory is a little fuzzy so I'm not quite sure exactly which songs they did in what order. But I do remember:

I'm sure there was more (not in that order at all) but I really can't remember. ^^;;

The line is ridiculously long and went down to the next street and around the corner. I loved the looks that passerbyers were giving us. "Why the fuck are there so many goddamn asian out here???"

So my tickets were supposed to be "will call". Apparently will call and VIP were in the same line. (SWEET) and once the doors were open I was in the "2nd row". It was standing show so there were any actual rows.

The opening acts were.... decent.... Well Kero One was cool, but a little too long. We had already been standing there waiting for everything to start for about an hour already (and I swear it was at least 98 degrees F in there) so needless to say we weren't all that thrilled when FarEast Movement came on stage after Kero One was finished. ^^;;;

However once Epik High was on.....

Everyone went insane. XD;

I was stuck next to this really gross fat korean fangirl that would not stop shoving her disgust elbow into my face. I've been to metal concerts before, but the fangirls that were at this concert are by far the worst things I have ever encountered. Luckily, it got too hot in there, so the annoying chick had to leave. However, she was quickly replaced by yet another die hard korean fangirl who also purposely kept trying to take my eye out. Bitch....

The concert was amazing. And ridiculously hot, as stated by Tablo. I was suprised how he was able to keep his hat and jacket on in the heat. X____x;;; There were a couple of times where I felt like I was about the pass out due to the close quarters and lack of AC.

The concert overall was a bit disorganized. The venue was changed, there were many technical difficulties and none of the staff could give me a correct and consistent answer about the ticketing and lines. Of course I don't blame Epik High for this. I just blame the person who organized everything. Even the technical staff at The Fillmore were being assholes about the sound not working. >__> (Maybe it's just New Yorkers who are kinda pissy all the time)

I found it utterly hilarious when Tablo asked how his stage people were doing and Mike was all "AWESOME!!" and being all pumped up, Tukutz was all ".....It's coo." XDDDD Adorable. <3

One was definitely one of my favorite songs they performed at this live. It started out all mellow and then beat that followed was so amazing. *___* I could feel it resonate throughout my chest cavity. xDD

Although Map the Soul Worldwide Vers. feat MYK and Kero One was my fav at this show. Mike started out with his part after Tablo introduced the song but was very surprised when the audience rapped his part for him. XDDD He turned around and gave Tablo this "WTF THIS IS FUCKED UP" gesture/look. XD They both looked very amused. <3

I really liked the lighting in this. XD

After the concert, I begged my sister to stay with me to ~~stalk~~ see if would catch Epik High leaving The Fillmore. We found their limos and eventually Tukutz, Mithra and I think Mike came out. :D Next were Kero One and The Far East Movement and Tablo was last. I didn't really have anything for him to sign, so I asked for a picture instead. XDDDD!!!

Poor guy looks exhausted. :|

This is a rather large and low quality file, so it's going to take long time to load. I complied mini clips from the full concert, so there's like a 10-30 sec short for every song they played. Also, since this was taken when I was in the middle of the pit, IT'S REALLY SHAKY AND SEIZURE INDUCING. Like really crazy, so sorry if you hate that. No one says you have to watch it. XD;

Every single song was damn powerful. Kyo's voice is absolutely amazing. Words can't even describe it. You really have to be there to experience it. I was near the back in the beginning, but as the concert went on, I somehow ended up in the middle front. I made eye contact with Kyo with a split second. XD /fangirl

Kyo really does demand all of the attention. My favorite member is Die, so I was trying to watch him throughout most of the concert, but Kyo just kep tearing my eyes off of him. It was hypnotic. *____* When he did his acapella, I was in awe. You could definitely feel a lot of emotion through it all. Overall, they all seemed extremely into it except for Kaoru. He kind of hung around the far left of the stage and didn't really interact with the audience until the end. Totchi and Die were headbanging their lovely heads off while showing off every now and then in the front of the stage. Poor Shinya was stuck in the back, so it was hard to see him most of the time. But his drumming was freaking awesome. <3 We were calling his name in the beginning before the curtains opened.

I think my favorite moments were definitely when Kyo asked us to sing for him. Like during GRIEF and LIE BURIED WITH A VENGEANCE, he motioned for everyone during the "FUCK FUCK FUCK YOUR A MOTHERFUCKER" AND "Fuck You!!" parts. xDD It was so fucking badass. A good majority of the crowd was singing along through most of the songs. It was like "Damn straight. We might be from America, but we still love you guys enough to sing in Japanese."

At the end, they threw out picks and sticks at the crowd. Totchi and Die threw water at us. XDD And then someone threw a glowstick at Die when he was leaving. O_o;;;; It came out of nowhere, and he was like *DODGE* "WTF." Poor guy.

I think the concert vid up there kind of says it all. XD;

Afterwards, I bought merchandise:

There are 3 shirt designs, but I only got one since the others were sold out in smalls. :| I'll just get them in Dallas. XD; The shirts are $30 each, the post is $15, and UROBOROS is $15. They had other things, like buttons, stickers etc but I didn't really pay that much attention to them.

I got Die on camera shaking our hands. <3

So my friends and I just waited by the tour bus for Diru to get on. We saw Kyo (who covered his face with a towel), Kaoru, Totchi (who waved and had the cutest smile ever on his face) and Die (WHO SHOOK OUR HANDS AND SAID THANK YOU TO US). Shinya was a ninja and snuck on the bus when we weren't looking. XD;; I think I died from Die shaking my left hand. I was holding the camera with my right, so when I stick out my left hand, he gave me an amused look and shook my hand upside-down. XD He's SO CUTE. <3

But anyways, to everyone out there who plans on going/ might not go/ whatthefuckever, GO. It's so amazing and totally worth the time and money. These guys work so hard to put on a good show, the least we can do is go and rock out with them. ;D

I'm going to get/ am getting severely butt raped by school. :D

Learning how to use a brand new 3D animating program is kind of hard. Just a bit. So if you guys don't see me around on LJ a lot (if any at all) you'll know why. Might look like nothing, but animation is a bitch to do. 2 hours of work = 2 sec of animation.

Looks simple right? Let's animating time!! har har har.
